Family Owned & Operated for Four Generations

The Nash Family has deep roots in Platte County that go much farther back than Nash Gas Company’s 75 years. The family business that is now a propane retail company began in the 1920s as a funeral home and furniture store in Edgerton, MO. The furniture store started selling appliances like gas cookstoves that ran off bottled propane gas. In 1945, J.W. Nash started Nash Gas and Appliance to start selling gas for the appliances and began filling bottles on the street in Edgerton.

Nash Gas has served customers in Northwest Missouri and the KC metro area for over 50 years.

Since 1945, we have considered our customers our most important asset, and have offered the best service and the best price available.

Because of these years of dependable service, we are now in our fourth generation of operation.
Independently Managed:

Nash Gas is the only local propane retailer that is still family owned. Because we are an independent company, we are not restricted to receive our product from only one source.
This enables us to offer the customer a price either below, or comparable to any on the market. Buying from several distributors insures that there is never any danger of a shortage.
